Talking to Brittany was so easy for him. They sometimes talked about the most random things and then she would talk about Lord Tubbington or something that happened in dance class. Her passion for dance was inspiring and he liked that she drove herself to try and get a career with dancing. There was many times that he wished he could go up to New York and spend time with Brittany. After his past college relationships, he really had no hope on other girls. But the thing with Brittany was that she was the sweet, kind hearted person so he would see her being faithful. He smiled wide at the girl seeing as she much more quiet than they were usually on the phone.
As Brittany talked about her mom and when she comes back from Spain, Sam reached out his hand and grabbed hold of her cold hand. “Britt. It’s okay. I’m sure your mom will be here soon.” He informed her not really wanting to see Brittany cry. “I can always keep you company until your mom gets back. If you want” He slipped out biting his lower lip. “I miss my family too. Like crazy I’m going to see them this weekend”
Brittany had always wondered why Sam was being so nice to her, everyone else though that she was just a freak. Stupid, useless and just simply a freak. Even her parents thought so, but she was bound to love her parents and they were bound to love her too. In middle school, they’d bought her Lord Tubbington so that she wouldn’t be alone, because no one wanted to be her friend. She didn’t get to know Santana, or anyone else for that matter, until high school. But in high school, everyone was forced to love her, because of her being a cheerio, and she just never knew if someone genuinely loved her for her. She had no idea what it felt like to be loved, until she joined Glee, and she had no idea what it felt like to love, until she met Sam. Sure, she loved Santana as well, she might still do, but Sam was just.. perfect, somehow.
She blushed a little when Sam hold her hand. His hand was so warm, compared to hers, and she just felt like holding his hand forever. “I know, I just miss her..” She bit her lip and tried not to smile that big at what Sam said. “I’d love that.” She said and couldn’t help but to smile even more. “That’s awesome Sam. You’ll have to say hi to them from me!” She laughed softly and got lost in his eyes. She could literally die happy right now.
Brittany’s hand was so soft and smooth. He could hold her hand for the rest of the time at the restaurant. He didn’t want to leave the place now. But if he was going to go to Brittany’s and keep her company he would be totally okay with that. They would be able to just have a whole house to themselves and or course Lord Tubbington. He always wanted to meet Lord Tubbington. Especially with all the things and stories said from Brittany about him. Sounded like a cool cat. Sam never had any pets so he could possibly cat sit with Brittany. In fact almost every story Brittany told was as interesting as the other. She wasn’t totally smart like people would say but he could tell she had street smarts and actually knew some good things. Senior year when she ran for president she made sense. Well, when he heard about Brittany talking about how society is or what’s going on with woman’s right. Though he just loved the girl in general. She was pretty and just a great person.
Seeing that smile grow wider he couldn’t help but smile with her. “It’ll be fun” He answered. “Yea, I’ll tell them you say hi. I really can’t wait to see Stacey and Stevie.” Sam replied and just stayed in this moment looking at her sweetly and almost thinking they were the only one’s in the diner. Until the waitress came up and brought their food. “Alright.. you two love birds eat up” The waitress said, and he bit his lip and then bowed his head. Until he tilted up his head and smiled lightly at Brittany. Taking the ketchup and putting it on the side for his fries. Eating a couple. “So… tell me more on the dancing. How’s that going?”
